dentistry from the heart flierThe Mosaic Smiles team cares deeply about our community. As a trusted provider of superior dental care for families and individuals of all ages and stages of life, your dentist in Fairfax knows everyone needs quality dentistry — but not everyone can pay for it. That’s why we are happy to partner with Vienna Smiles to host the Dentistry From the Heart event every year!

About 2017 Dentistry From the Heart

This year will be the 5th annual event where we offer much-needed dental care to people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to pay for it. 2017’s Dentistry From the Heart will be held on September 16 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Plan to arrive early, as care is provided on a first come, first served basis! Last year we provided care to over 100 patients, and we look forward to serving even more smiles in 2017.

Due to space limitations, we encourage people to bring a chair to sit in and blankets, coats, and jackets to keep warm until it’s your turn to receive care. We plan to have warm drinks and coffee on hand, but we want to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible while you wait.

Offering Dental Care for Happier Smiles

It’s estimated that some 100 million Americans avoid dental care because they simply can’t pay for it. At Dentistry From the Heart, our team of experts will offer one of three services to needy patients who are 18 or older: a dental cleaning, tooth filling, or extraction.

We have chosen to offer these 3 treatments because they are vital to continued oral health and wellness. Fillings stop decay and return your smile back to full health. For an aching tooth that cannot be rescued, an extraction can prevent an abscess or infection that spreads to the brain and puts your life at risk. And preventive dental cleanings help patients avoid painful oral health hazards altogether.

Our team will also talk to you about how better brushing and flossing and positive lifestyle choices can help you steer clear of tooth decay and infection. Brushing your teeth two minutes, twice a day and flossing daily will remove plaque and tartar that eats away at the healthy tooth enamel and causes gum disease. Avoiding tobacco and eating a balanced, nutritious diet are also important steps for happy, healthy smiles!
